This was a difficult list, but the above is reasonably accurate concerning order. There are other four-star albums by both acts, of course, but this is the combined top-ten for me.

the difference is, Let It Be had a lot of Spector crap to remove to make it "naked", and therefore halfway listenable (though still pretty weak by Beatles standards, now as then), none of those Stones albums suffered from that sort of desperate over-production.

I also don't understand the topic I guess, the OP only had one Beatles album in the top ten and then one straggling in the other section. Not much of a balance to get all gut wrenched over.
