Any members of the Church Choir? My all-time favorite country singer is Dwight Yoakam, but of the last 15 years or so, it's been Eric Church. His new triple album is fantastic. I like Soul better than Heart, but fantastic nonetheless. Long Wolf on & is my favorite song from the triple album.

Know the name, but must confess, I have never heard a thing by him. I will check him out. Regarding Dwight, one of my all time faves. I've seen him live 10 times, maybe more, through the years. Honky Tonk Man and Guitars and Cadillacs were the first of Dwight's songs to grab me. Then, Buenos Noches came along and wow. The stuff he did with Pete Andersen was so good. Dwight's cover of Warren Zevon's "Carmelita" is excellent with Flaco Jimenez on accordion. I will go to Church with hope there is reason to pray there.

Those albums are excellent! I liked 3 Pears and Second Hand Heart a lot!

Not an official member of the Church Choir, but his last two records just arrived by mail.

Mr. Misunderstood is one of my favorite albums of the past 10 years.

Really talented and shouldn't be lumped with all the Bro-Country dudes.

IMHO, he and Brent Cobb are the 2 who deserve notice.

Interesting article on him I recently read (and I saw him on that Seger tour).
