I've got tickets to see Bob Marley joined with his friends Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailers, Fams and Carly and all of them. Probably the same show you are seeing.

spinning smiley sticking its tongue out I thought the same thing.

Just joking with you winaux on Dead and Company vs. the Grateful Dead.

Lol... good one! I must've been having flashbacks when I posted thatsmiling smiley. And I hate to admit that it took me a few minutes to figure out what you were referring to. Well, as Junior Kimbrough and Buddy Guy say "I Done Got Old"!

No ticket needed, but really looking forward to see a pal of mine, Peter Bruntnell with a band featuring James Walbourne (The Pretenders and Ray Davies).

Playing at The Cavern Pub,Raynes Park,SW London on Thursday. Covid restrictions means about 50 punters will be let in,so gotta get there early.

Missed the last gig with Pete and James a couple of weeks ago, but heard it was a super gig.

Also going to same venue on Sunday August 22nd late afternoon gig, where Pete will be playing tracks from his new album 'Journey To The Sun', with one of his bands he plays in.

Looking forward to that one as well.Hopefully by then will be allowed more punters to be there. smileys with beer

Kiss next month in Paris...won't happen but they're still taking money for it...

Kiss? They’re still around? I remember they were doing a farewell tour way back in the summer of 2002! Almost 20 years ago.

Got tickets to see the greatly diminished 82-year-old Gordon Lightfoot, and then remembered this comment someone made on here way back in 2008

Gordon Lightfoot in an arena. Next to Dylan no one mumbled the way he did and while he was playing acoustic you could hear folks in the opposite upper deck talking. Everyone had to sing the words to themselves otherwise it just would have been like listening to some background music.

Went to this gig last week and sure enough it was a really good gig.thumbs up
Capacity crowd of 50 I'm sure.
Took a load of videos with my mobile phone, and only put two up on youtube and here they are.
Not ideal from a phone onto youtube, but better than nothing.

Going to see Wilco and Sleater Kinney tomorrow. Got an email less than 34 hours before the show starts saying you must be fully vaccinated to enter. I am. No biggie there. However, the timing of this seems like bad business. But, I guess not being careful is bad business too.

The Isbell/Lucinda shows I went to provided more time than that, but not a lot.
Things are changing rapidly with many artists following suit, as the policy is proving to be a welcome and successful one.

What they did do at Austin City Limits though, was set up a rapid testing site just a few blocks away to facilitate those caught off guard. A couple behind me in line flew in before hearing of the changes, and they were back in time to still get a good spot near the rail before the opener.
(she was vaxxed without her paperwork, he wasn't vaxxed and "wasn't no farm animal" but took the prod up the nose nonetheless.) spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
