Glasgow 1971 is probably the least talked about . But probably one of the greatest shows you will never hear.
Mick get this out officially. Would also love an official realse from 1970.

As predicted: Overpriced T-shirts. Overpriced T-shirts with sh*tty designs.Again.

I often wonder why Rolling Stones fans are forced to suffer this abuse. Most of us have been fans for fifty years or more. Haven't we given enough?

Sticky Fingers 50th Anniversary Collection - official announcement: [Twitter.com] , [www.Facebook.com] .

Wow, that is a complete disappointment, but no one is shocked by the looks of it.

This crass cash-in is embarrassing. Must have taken 5 minutes to design. No respect for the fans , and less respect for the legacy of a once great band.
Pathetic.

Actually that black shirt with the tongue on it isn't too bad. Way too expensive probably so I doubt I will ever decide in person.

Wheres the music?

At least when ABKCO put out a pointless reissue there's an excuse for being underwhelmed.

Yes, that tongue-t-shirt is somewhat nice. But one could make one's own t-shirt for half the price, like I just did, with a photo of an elephant seal.

The Scottish audience are going ballistic to propel the Stones into eutopia.
Brussells 1973 eat your heart out.Midnight Rambler in the Glasgow Gorbals it does not get much darker. Mick get this out officially.

Do you mean 1973?

Can't seem to find a show from Glagow in 1971.

I agree with most of you expressing their disappointment. I also think the (Pasche) logo T-shirt is the only thing worth mentioning, but the price is way out.
As a SF "maniac" I was also disappointed about the CD/DVD set as shown by MisterDDDD. After the great re-release of Exile, I had (too) high expectations on the re-release of SF. Ah well, I treasure my memories (like the Colston Hall, Bristol concert on March 9, 1971) and listen to that great album whenever it suits me and put on my SF bermuda, SF T-shirt or SF watch or SF necktie from time to time. It makes me feel happy, SWAY and "BITCHy"... grinning smiley

The Sticky Fingers artwork might well be their best album cover, but from all their covers it's the one that makes the least sense to put on a shirt.

Great write up on the album for its 50th Anniversary in Hot Press.

Pat Carty writes good pieces, his piece on GHS20 was wonderful.

‘Brown Sugar’ adds irrefutable evidence to the case for The Rolling Stones as the greatest rock n’ roll band of all time. And I do mean all time, for it seems more and more unlikely with each passing year that we’ll ever see anyone even close to their like again. You could just as easily point at anything The Stones recorded from ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ up to Exile On Main St - and I would add 73’s Goats Head Soup to that pile, although many would argue that point. It is the greatest artistic purple patch in history; it might just be the greatest thing in history, full stop. Yes, there are a lot of nice paintings hanging up out there, Shakespeare had some good lines, there’s no denying it, democracy sounds good on paper, and modern medicine is a thing of wonder, but do any of them rock like The Stones?

Hey Yeah .... the guy can write ...

good article. "Keith Richards once told someone that the secret to a good single is to introduce something new every thirty seconds." first time I read that quote, but I had that same thought regarding 19th Nervous Breakdown
