58 tracks, spanning 1963-2020, plus two, token new recordings. It's a given, isn't it?
Not sure about the two new recordings as they simply can't seem to get it done as a band these days, but hopefully at least one new token recording.
59 oldies, and one new track...that's all we can hope for at this point, and unless a miracle happens that's probably all they'll come up with.

it's extremly unlikely that [whatever it is] will feature some music. Just a few years ago they released a Sticky Fingers deluxe box. On the other hand the everything that was recorded in 1971 will be public domain unless it's released by the 2021. Still on the other hand the knew about this when they released the SF box…

Got to say I’m feeling cynical about anything more they’re going to milk. Yes, I know there’s no gun pointed at my head but every time there’s an announcement like this it turns out to be a disappointment. Also makes me wonder who the target audience is, seems it should be us.

The cause to be cynical is because they announce it.....a day before the release. I think Irix is spot on. Some new Sticky Finger's Merch and that is about it.

At least it's not another hits compilation similar to Grrr or Honk, bu we can probably be expecting that for the 60th anniversary.

What with the recently unleashed SD version and all the other associated variations on the theme, what could they possibly have to release now? I hope they do not just reissue it with one or two previously unavailable songs (but you got to know its a distinct possibility). I suspect the "collection" part refers to peripheral merchandising like clothes or, uh, thongs or some such BS.

Be nice to see it get the GHS treatment w blu-ray, unreleased outtakes, reworked songs etc.
Short of that, not going to be anything most don't have a few copies of musically.
Don't believe we'll see the GHS treatment though, but something different besides merch almost has to be part of it for it to sell.

I keep debating whether to get Sticky Fingers on Japanese SHM CD. I don't see the point if it's no better than the 2014 release. I forget if they claimed to have remastered the original recording.
