Acid did not preclude them from eating jelly babies though.

Especially Paul.

How can one overlook Aerosmith? They owe much to the Stones, even a nickname for Tyler and Perry - The Toxic Twins - a takeoff on the Mick and Keith as the Glimmer Twins.

Oasis

They owe much more to The Stones than the Beatles.

Primal Scream too, even though I enjoy their experimental stuff (like Vanishing Point, Evil Heat, Xtrmnr) more than the Jimmy Miller stuff and their sus-riff songs.

Cinderella (Tom Keifer).

Especially "Shelter Me", which features the well known "C-F" chords, played on a five string open-g tuned guitar (sounding pretty similar to "Start me Up" or "Sad Sad Sad").

cheers, Fillmore
