Double A sided, x4 trk 12" single. This 12” features two reggae remixes each of “Jokerman” and “I And I” by Doctor Dread. The original versions of both tracks appeared on Dylan’s ‘Infidels’ album with Sly & Robbie as the rhythm section. The two “I And I” remixes were previously released on ‘Is It Rolling Bob: A Reggae Tribute To Bob Dylan’ (2003) while the ‘Jokerman’ remixes are newly commissioned and previously unreleased. Doctor Dread has worked with Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff, Inner Circle, Gregory Isaacs, Luciano, Mad Cobra, Freddy Mcgregor, Sly and Robbie, Steel Pulse, The Wailers and many others.

Dr Dread aka Gary Himmelfarb, founder of RAS Records and author of scandal bag book on the reggae industry based on some of his experiences including bringing Israel Vibration back together after they split some years earlier. RAS = Real Authentic Sound. He has been working with Dylan on a couple projects for a few years now, good to see this come out.

Of course it was in 1992, not 1995 and both songs were released before on a CD single.

I don`t like yellow vinyl. I was surprised that the 8 track EP "From The Fires" by Greta Van Fleet was yellow when I opened it. I bought it new from a local retailer at the cost of 36 USD (299 Norwegian Kroner).

They were intended for a DVD/BR-release by Mercury Studios (former Eagle Rock) but are currently not listed anymore - [iorr.org] . RSD-releases are mostly different from the general mass-releases.

Hot Rocks ain't yellow, it's chicken.

I wish they could come up with something exciting. There’s so many possibilities with color vinyl. I’m thinking about that liquid filled record that Jack White made. I’d jump at something like that.

Not a fan of the yellow vinyl...reminds me of a cheap plastic toy...

In my opinion people are losing their minds over vinyl prices lately. Maybe this is fall out from the absence of gaming concert tickets? I'm not buying any of this nonsense, plus they're ugly vinyls.

Booked, in Italy 60 euros. It looks like a nice edition. it would be amazing with the first Brown Sugar and Wild Horsess prints ... who knows

People are losing there minds about vinyls in general. It is not only about the price but the format to store (listen to) music too .
