What feels like a car wreck about it, for you?
I see the boys, yes they are older and slower, but I don’t see anything abysmal, at least not like the hand of fate debacle

Difficult to watch in its entirety as it's not one of their greatest tunes by a longshot, but I don't get the "horrible car-crash" factor.
Yeah it drags on seemingly endlessly with no real rhyme, reason, purpose, or focus, but that's how it's always been performed live.
And as much as I've always disliked seeing/hearing it live, it's always been miles better live than the abysmal studio version.

like so often and as with so many songs – live version tend to be much too long

The interesting bit is that you come up with this now. Five years after the show. It took you a long while to think this through...

abysimal? I would quote some under my thumb or come together cover or some other dragging miss you with synth harp from later years
here I give em points just for the fact that they play a 1997 song and it turns out to be a crowd pleaser

Im always wandering why there are some many so called fans over here who only can point out what they don't like about the stones.
New songs aren't good enough, live they aren't like the where in 1972. jee, they are getting old, should they go touring.....pffff.

I'm a fan since 81 and I've changed a lot since then, so did the stones.

If you don't like it, leave it!
