We can’t even get them together in a recording studio. Given they are on different continents, and seemingly, and understandably, loathe to travel, your “friend” is asking a purely silly hypothetical.

The Stones performed on a couple of private parties before. I think the most "funny" one was the Pepsi Cola show (was it in Hawaii?).

If you want The Rolling Stones to play at your wedding, here's a suggestion: Next time the Stones are in your city, get tickets to the concert, and then schedule your wedding to take place on the same day. Imagine going directly from your afternoon wedding to a Stones concert happening that very same evening. Pretty cool, right?

My wife and I considered doing that very thing, but thought Brian Wilson was better suited to the job. We got married on March 9, 1999, and then attended Brian's first-ever solo concert later that day.

It would cost usd 10 million, and only possible during a tour. They have done a few private shows on tour over the years, like private paid for birthday party shows at The Joint 2002 and Belly Up 2015. So if you have the money, and you may wait until 2027 or so, with the right contacts, may be, just may be, it is theoretically possible. PS. They do not take requests, and they play just 90 minutes or so.

I always dreamed if I could afford to hire them, I would write into the contract bonuses if they played certain songs. Might be the only way to get them to break out Slave or Coming Down Again.

Of course, the contract would also state if they played Anybody Seen My Baby I would get a partial refund.

It won't be a real problem to get them to play on your wedding if you marry a member of the Stones or one of their close relatives or friends
