I always liked to hear the solo in The Last Time
how it was played. It gets buried in the mono mix.

Thank you for that.

I wanted you to know that the "typo" was in the song title for "Get Off Of My Cloud".

I have bad habit of leaving "Of" out of the title, and the song appears twice on the release, once with wrong title and once correct. So I had to fix it (OCD)!

Thank you for the post. Too bad mom and dad aren't around anymore for me to drive them crazy with me blasting original Stones out of the hi-fi. The Stones weren't cute enough for them like, y'all know, that other group.

Only the mono mix is authentic. The stereo-version is a fan-created pseudo-stereo mix.

Hi, I've got a few questions regarding this compilation.
- Reelin' and Rockin', Good Bye Girl and Key to the Highway were also recorded at Chess Studios, but they are not on this compilation. Does it mean that no stereo mix of these has ever surfaced ?
- Is there something special with these masters of We Love You and Dandelion ? Weren't they recorded at Olympics ?

What about the stereo version of "Good Times" which was on the ill-fated "Necrophilia" album along with the mix of "Think" found in this excellent post?

Every Reelin' and Rockin' derives from MP3 source so you know.

Still great to hear this way, but it is not lossless from origin. Other than uncirculated.

I know I might be in the minority, but I prefer the mono recordings of the majority 0f the Stones songs. The sound is clearer and fuller than stereo. They have been many articles written by sound engineers stated the mono recordings are better.

This is what he told me

1) - No stereo available for those.
- The only thing special is that they are the best sounding, widest and most complete versions of these non-LP tracks.
2) I completely forgot about it. It's one of those gross-sounding fake stereo-esque mixes a'la Metamorphosis. I will admit defeat.
