I'm currently co-writing Dave's memoir with him and there will be some good Stones content - from seeing them in concert early on, to the Beggar's sessions, friendship with Brian, traveling with Ahmet on the '76 tour, Keith & Ronnie crashing his home in the late 70s etc- any Dave fans here?

I saw him open for Eric Burdon at Feather Falls casino around 2000. He introduced himself as Brian Jones with a big smile.

Loved his work while with Traffic, his own Alone Together still a constant listen and an album I turn people onto when they ask "Who's that?" as they hear a song from it playing.

I enjoyed his "Traffic Jam" tours from a few years ago, playing a full set of nothing but Traffic. Thought it was odd that he included songs he had absolutely nothing to do with (Low Spark, Rock & Roll Stew), but was glad that he did because it made for a smokin' hot show. Probably the best club gig I've been to in recent years.

Is Mason playing on Long Road Ahead of Delaney & Bonnie Motel Shot?
I love this song.

I saw his show at Lone Star Cafe in New York many years ago. He gave us a good performance at the historical place.
I remember quicksilver messenger service with Mick Taylor was booked at there in the same week.

Fyi,
