CYHMK recorded in Stockholm, december 2004. Probably one of the best AUD I heard in years. Who´s playing? Here´s a clue: The Vibrato Still Sings

Sounds great to me. Where can I download the boot? I just gotta have this one.
Too bad Ronnie could never surpass that kind of excellence.

Nice solo.

I don't wanna trash MT but I do have some boots where he throws in just a little bit too many notes. Kinda like Chuck did on licks.

Ronnie did some nivce CYHMK's on licks too.

sounds a bit boring to me. mick taylor is defintely a great guitarist, one of the best slide players, but ronnie is able to play very well a lot of kinds of music. He's funny, he can play a better rhythm work, he loves keith and the stones. Ronnie is more rock'n'roll looking than taylor, and he knows that he plays in a BAND. I mean, listen the song mickjaggeroo posted: you can hear just him!

I think Ronnie is great w/ short bursts of Punk Rock/Berry leads and ambient slide but he cannot maintain a solo beyond a few seconds like CYMK or Midnight Rambler. For Some Girls and Rough Justice type stuff he rocks. I love the playing on "Look What The Cat Dragged In".

Sounds like a bunch of 40+ guys playing in a blues bar showing off.

I agree Mick is technically superior but did not fit the "Rolling Stones". Maybe its great did much of best work with Mick but I agree with faraway & few others. Ronnie was meant to be Keiths Sidekick. They were always "brothers" & Ronnie is fun & been mediator of Mick & Keith. If Mick had stayed it wouldn't of worked the chemistry etc. Keith had no affinity for Mick to say the least. For all the Ronnie bashing he may be the single reason the Stones carried on throughout. So indirectly even if you feel he's a weak link be grateful Woody was in & Mick Taylor out if for this reason alone! & He looks like a Rolling Stone Where Mick T looks like belonged in Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Even today, there is still no comparison between the sweet sounding notes that MT plays and the creaking, often painful stuff that Ronnie plays.

This is a tough choice, Ronnie cant play but was right for the band in the 70s and 80s.

Yeah!

Sure - Ronnie is capable of many things...@#$%& up every song...Taylor is pure shit, right ? you f...... c..... Do want good music or not? Why the hell are most of you defending a guy who can´t play????????? As long as you´re thin, black hair...look like a stone - then you can behave like a fool on stage? The whole macho thing about sex, drugs and r&r is that you then STILL ARE ABLE TO PLAY!!!! They stay together just because they are long time friend, thats it!!! Keith and Mick - I´m sure - hold their breaths everytime they play Start me up, Tumbling Dice and so on..."what´s Ronnie gonna do?"...But go ahead, act natural...there´s nothing wrong with Ronnie..."HE´S A STONE!!!!!!!

Yeah!
Howcome some of you defend Ronnie when he obviously can´t play anymore??? Too much smack in your brains? I´m sooooo tired of all of this " he`s a stone, he`s so cool", and so on. Dont you like good music? Wake up!!!!!!
