84.00$ in the US? It's about 50 Euros in Europe. Still too expensive for that bad mix.

The only exception to my ears was Hampton 1981 and Tokyo 1990. These releases really sound good.

Everything else is a disaster, including the recently released 1989 Atlantic city. Rio 2006 so far (EP) is a huge disappointment (Mick's voice occasionally sounds distorted)
That's because those two were mixed by Bob Clearmountain. Bob Clearmountain is a genius and his mixed are always great, except when they get destroyed by Stephen Marcussen's overly compressed mastering. Atlantic City was mixed by Sam Wheat, as well as the new Rio release as well as VL Uncut. While I thought Atlantic City was okay, VL Uncut and now Rio are rea
lly bad.
Sorry to say, but I am not buying this LPs. The last releaess have been dissapointing and dull soundwise, no high end and a mess soundwise. As I am 60+ as the majority of Stoners fans, we may have lost some hearing, but that does not explain the boring sound.

I am now listening to Clapton's Budokan LP, that's how it should sound, very well done, I can't understand anyone could listen to the "new" crap and prise it. Clpaton ( and other LPs) were ok sounding whwn I was 18, is my hearing better than I thougt now, over tinnitus?. It very bright, as most 70s LPs were. Heck, almost to bright now. Remasters and reissues are not (few exceptons)

Why is the deluxe edition in the US so much more expensive?
It is a difference of 30 dollars at least. In Holland you pay like 50 euro.

You read my mind as I wondered the same thing myself . I ordered the Deluxe version just the same as I wanted both shows on DVD.

Kind of wish people wouldn’t buy these records at super high prices. Then the sellers would disappear and the fans could have them. Wishful thinking on my part.

Played a few songs from each Blu-Ray. I like the sound better on Salt Lake City, actually I would say it's great and worth the price alone. Enjoy!

Not necessarily aimed just at this release but is there a website where you can find out how many copies of albums etc have been released?

Just skipped through Copacabana for 10 minutes. With this sound I have no intention to ever listen to this version again. Horrible effect on vocals and often on Keith guitar. Rough Justice is a horrible example.Keyboard ist louder than everything else.

I am glad there is Salt Lake with a way way better mixed sound. Sometimes you can't understand what these folks are doing. Great Artwork by the way.
