Does the world really need another over-priced corporate era Stones live album full of the same songs and stage banter?

This is a pretty special concert since it broke several records as the largest rock concert of all time

I believe that record belongs to Rod Stewart. Same place.

Did it? Pretty sure it’s been exaggerated slightly. The crowd number seems to have grown thru the years. HUGE crowd no doubt.. but record breaking? I think not

Why people are bitching and complaining about this release is beyond me. We all knew it was coming for years; they weren't going to let this spectacle languish in the vault. Get it out of the way, and move on....

The thing is the people complaining will probably get it

Deluxe set should come with sand taken from the beach ...

or a bit of authentic garbage from the beach, from day after the concert.

That's the hype ok, but in your home or in your car what's coming out of the speakers is your average typical stadium Stones setlist with the exception of Night Time Is The Right Time maybe.

The funny thing is that compared with today's set lists, Copacabana is almost adventurous smiling smiley

No one hates the Rolling Stones more than hardcore Rolling Stones fans.

Bitch, buy and boast that’s quite funny.!!
Yes there is often a lot of bitching for a fan site.
I see the point about a fairly interesting set list in comparison to all warhorses

Fans bitch because they actually care. I don't care if Phish releases 1998, 2008, or 2018 for their next live release because...I don't care enough about Phish.

The thing is, I have this show on DVD as part of the 2007 release. While the occasion was remarkable, the footage is not the greatest to look at (lightweight stage with too few lights) They could have released the Saitama show of which there are just a few songs featured in the official set, though the HD download of that is axailable for free. In 2014 in Berlin, there were signs that notified the audience they were filming. I wonder when THAT would be scheduled for release? That was the greatest scenery for filming they could possibly ask for.

My beef with them is the PITIFUL mixes they give us.
I want to hear Keith and Ronnie HIGH up in the mix with Charlie and Darryl down in the engine room. Listening to Chuck plinking away during Start Me Up or JJF isn't the way to go. When Keef brings out Micawber, I want that Open G bliss to wash over me. Bum notes and all.

So IS it 2cd/2dvd, or 3dvd/1cd ????

It's 2DVD+2CD - [www.jpc.de] , [TheRollingStonesShop.com] , [www.Bravado.de] .

Yes that’s what it officially looks like —- 2cd/2dvd which is what the top of my physical order says.

Just that the small print of my order then says 3dvd/1cd

No, literally no Bonus-Tracks - the Japanese Deluxe-Edition has only an additional DVD (Documentary) as a Bonus - [iorr.org] .

The 4 "new" Tracks of this (worldwide) release were not contained in the 2007 release - [iorr.org] .
