How to publish a picture on the IORR forum pages
Right-click on the photo on a website.
Choose "copy image location" (netscape).
Or "Properties (Explorer) and copy the picture address.
Typically picture address:
[iorr.org]
Then use the following codes to tell it's a picture:

Remember no spaces (no blanks) between the markers, just the picture address. The picture need to be placed on internet, i.e. you should store your picture somewhere. IORR does not offer storage of picture, but you may link the pictures into your posts as shown here.

Storing pictures
You need to store your photos/pictures on an external site like Flickr or Photobucket - there are many sites for storing photos. Make sure you publish a low-resolution version fit for internet, so that the image is loading fast. Typically 72 dpi and a size that fits to a screen, not way to big. You can not store your original photos on IORR, but you can link to them and display your photos like explainde above.

Upload them for free to e.g. [Imgur.com] , [Postimages.org] or [www.Directupload.net] .

In general it's better when the Picture-URL is simple and ends with *.jpg, *.png or *.gif .

Posting images with a cryptic address (mostly from Google) doesn't work with IORR (except Twitter, GettyImages). In such a case upload the picture first to a free image host and post it then here on IORR.

To the question, I believe Koss made studio standard headphones in those days and many pro studios used them here and abroad. They look like those in the photos but I do not see any branding on them. So, could be, might not be...Seinheiser might be a second guess. (I probably did not spell the name correctly)

thank you jbwelda do you know what were the common models of koss used in studios 65-75

4AA seems to come to mind but thats a shot in the dark. Those were high quality consumer phones I think, but may have been used or an upgraded model for studio use might have been what they used.

This is just a SWAG though (Scientific Wild Ass Guess).

The Stones were recording in the Olympic Studios in London (UK). The studio-equipment like microphones or tape recorders was probably not the Stones' property - like the headphones.

Maybe in a gear list (inventory list) from Olympic Studios you could see the brand & specs of the headphones.

I couldn't find such a list via Google yet - but someone guessed it were headphones by AKG - [www.gearslutz.com] .

i have a pair of koss 4aa but didn't know because the brand thing on the side is missing i was never very impressed with them are they not very good headphones or is it because i'm using them on my computer and not the proper equipment
