Thanks for this interesting perspective and context. It is amazing how decades seem to have slipped away in the years after Voodoo Lounge. Everyone's lives got more complicated obviously.

Then ho do you explain there were plenty of B2B outtakes? This album is too new to be a candidate for a 2-cd reissue.

To me those B2B outtakes were the revelation of the collection. They hint at a different direction B2B could've went.

I would love to hear those BnB-era piano demos!

Any more info on a second volume possibly to come? Can't believe it's been 3.5 years since these fantastic outtakes got to us!!
