Anyone remember watching a documentary in 1994/5 on the Voodoo Lounge album and there was a breif part with them in the control booth of the studio listening back and Keith & Ronnie start singing along something like "What it is, what it is, what it is"? I've been trying to find it ever since!

Yes it popped again revently, it was "It's Funny" I think.

I was coming back to fix my mistake, thanks for doing it quicker than me. Having said that it doesn't look like "longlongwinter" was really interested in reading the replies of people trying to help him out with his question !

That's the one. I remember the "It is what it is / what it is" refrain being prefaced by Keith with "What's reaaaaallly goin' on with you?" To my knowledge, there's no recording of them having sung that outside of the control room. Although, somewhat tantalizingly, you can hear a stray "oh yeah" by Mick on the playback — which is not on the "Anything For You" bootleg that later surfaced.

Actually the clip that popped up recently was an outtake with no voice over and a longer video, where you can actually see Mick do that "oh yeah", let's see...there you go [youtu.be] - not sure about Mick there, he does seem to move his lips at the end, hehe...trainspotters, here we come !

Great to hear the Hot Stuff rehearsal part
(at around the 7 min mark). I remember being in
the DC hostel when someone came in and wanted to
read the complete rehearsal setlist."No!"
I left before he did.

On August 1st the intro came and I didn´t even
know which song they wanted to start with.
Not Fade Away...I was totally bummed!
Hot Stuff was only played at show #1,
unfortunately. It had a great arrangement,
listen to the horns.
