One of the most soulful songwriters/artists. If you haven't gotten into his music you're due for a treat when you do. There's a slew of his tunes on utoob.

One of the greatest soul song writer.

Discovered him via a Tarantino movie, Across 110 Street was in that movie.

Love Bobby. The album he did with Ronnie (Now look) was a great album too.

Also, I love this version of the track too:

He could do no wrong between ‘68-‘75. A very underrated string of albums.
‘Understanding’ is absolutely brilliant.

Didn't Bobby pay bail and receive custody of Sly Stone every time Sly was arrested?
I remember Ronnie Wood told so in the interview.

Love Bobby Womack, so many stunning songs in the 70s.

One of my favourites - and Rod Stewart's too, I would guess!

Dear Hairball
'Dreamer' is one of my favourite albums, but that's Bobby Bland smiling smiley

I like 'So Many Rivers' by Bobby Womack. I think Ron Wood might be on there somewhere? 'I wish he didn't trust me so much' is a great track.

He wrote It's All Over Now and he complained bitterly to another R and B artist (I think Chuck Berry) that the RS version was getting all the praise and the attention and not the Valentinos' version (his band) and he was told to be grateful that the RS had covered it, not just for the royalties he was getting.

I Can Say She's Alright... From Ronnie's second album, Now Look... Written by Ronnie and Bobby Womack. With Keith on guitar... A great one!
