Sad, another icon gone.

A beautiful woman, a great spirit.

What has been forgotten in recent decades is that the Supremes were the dominant Motown act in the '60's. Like the Beatles, they were always on the radio.

Real sadness about this.

Sad to hear and yes the Supremes were big in the topcharts 1964-1970 and always on the radio.

Saddened by this news! I always loved it in the past when I got to hear the Supremes on the radio. Special favourite songs to me were probably "You Keep Me Hangin' on" and "Reflections", but it was really great to hear any song of theirs. And when I later bought a compilation of them, I was able to hear " My Forever Came Today". Listened to that compilation recently in the close of January.

Very sad news...loved her, and she always seemed so cool and down to earth...

Very sad news,and she put a YouTube video up just a few days before her untimely passing.

I have got such great memories of seeing The Supremes at the gig at Kingston Granada ,(Where Pete and Roger from The Who played their most recent gigs in February,one year ago, renamed Pryzm),way back in 1965 on the Tamla Motown show which arrived in the UK.

Great performances for the whole show that our dear Mum (Now 95 years young),was a fan of Motown back then.

Such a lot of tributes coming through on BBC here in UK,and clips of The Supremes with the lovely Mary Wilson.

God bless you Mary and R.I.P.

RIP. An icon and trail blazer. She made a YouTube video just 3 days ago (it’s on her official channel) and seems to be well and in good spirits and excitedly looking forward to future projects then then suddenly gone. So sad. Just shows how fragile life is. Be grateful for every day, even if it’s a rotten day at work like I’ve just had.

When I was a kid (in the 60's), my older cousins constantly played the British Invasion groups and The Supremes. Thanks to them for turning me on to some great music.

"Stoned Love" is a personal favorite.
