The secret of the Stones sound was Charlie trying to keep up with Keith. Now Keith is struggling to keep up with the drummer.

He's playing boogie and some licks, sounding like he always does. He has no problems keeping up with the drummer. He's even playing around with the rhythm smiling smiley

Cool. Not showing off anything, just playing some basic shit, and that's it. Not probably the next Stones single, but who cares - always a joy to listen him playing that kind of stuff. It's only boogie but I like it.

Of course, if that wouldn't be Keith Richards there wouldn't be anything to write home about. But it is him, and we are Rolling Stones fans.grinning smiley

sorry to spoil the party… but what's so great about that?

I thought the same thing

made me feel a little sad.

I don't know about feeling "sad", but seeing him hunched over like that, playing some rather simple and basic guitar... I'd say it's a bit poignant.
Great to see him still active though, and with any luck his work in the studio will bare some fruit in one form or another, be it solo or for the Stones. thumbs up
