"Won't Get Fooled Again" has everything. Great singing, drumming, bass playing and guitar work. Great lyrics, jamming, and production. Producer Glyn Johns said the hair on his neck went up when he was recording it. Sublime.

Okay, so this is a list of, in my opinion, the most seminal and groundbreaking recordings in ‘rock’ Whether they truly exemplify, I’m not sure. I’ve tried the best I can to limit it to one entry per artist/group; which I didn’t quote achieve. There’s plenty of omissions, obviously. I’ve made 1970 the cut-off.
