IIRC , he flips through the the radio stations in his car and "Bitch" Comes on and he goes "nah" and changes it in preference of Tom Petty's "Free Falling"... Not exactly a good plug for the song.

PIB at the very end of "Full Metal Jacket" right after the main character realies he lives in a world of sh!t but he doesn't care anymore. 
Kubrick should have been spanked though, for speeding-up the track. He who cared so much for the artistic integrity of his own work didn't care much for the band's...
