Considering he was there during some of their best years, I imagine he’d have some great stories. I can’t recall him being interviewed for any the books I’ve read either.

His son (a black kid who was 8-10 yo) was hanging in Nellcote in 71.
Maybe he should be interviewed...

I think it’s interesting he plays keyboards on Moonlight Mile and Torn and Frayed .Where was Nicky and Ian.And why did they bring back Bobby Keys but not him for later tours/recordings

He's interviewed quite a bit in the Bobby Keys documentary Every Night's a Saturday Night.

One glorious evening in 1994 I was fortunate enough to be invited into THE Voodoo Lounge. Keith was overdubbing some guitar parts to what I believe was "Jump On Top Of Me Baby" (all we could hear in the "lounge" area was the drum track).

It was a festive group which included one Jim Price. He was extremely friendly and I thanked him profusely for the 17 evenings we spent "together" on the 1972 tour. I can't say that I gleaned any information about his tenure in the greatest band to ever take a stage, but I was very glad to see that he was still "around".

Also there that evening was a very charming Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go's. I sat with Mr. Price.

Do you mean you saw 17 concerts from the 72 tour...?
That's a story that needs to be told!
