mick trying to present it as "intellectual" and "sophisticated"

or julian temple implying that there's some deep dark meaning to it tyed into the stones legacy and history

Yeah, ha ha, I watched that 'making of Sex Drive'. At least Charlie and Bill were honest. Keith, yeah, but Mick, ha ha...

I seriously think they were kidding, including Temple. As in, as ridiculous as the video is. To say that about Sex Drive when Undercover Of The Night was basically a mini-movie, and borderline hilariously serious, very campy yet violent - part of the hilariousness is Charlie not even playing when Mick is shaking his head, hell, the drums are barely set up, Ronnie is waving his hands around (or slapping the guitar), Keith is basically jousting or casting spells... so that 'we won't actually mime' going on like the previous amount of videos (mostly in the 'safe' version of the video) only in a very dramatic way.
