Perhaps a full legal set in some form of HD for their 60th Anniversary. Failing that, the week after next would be fine by me!

Or, to put it more clearly so that they under$tand what I'm saying... this is a way to get more money from me!

The Gimme Shelter movie restoration years ago was a major upgrade and something to be marveled at, but not this.

The restored is darker, better focused, better colors and it's most likely been formatted for widescreen. Looks great, considering how a lot of those videos look a bit washed out. CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY was used!!!

Maybe it will be VIDEO REWIND - THE COMPLETE VIDEOS or something like that. Or maybe TOTAL REWIND - THE VIDEOS.

Would like to see Ladies and Gentlemen cleaned up with this technology .Also C.S Blues .

It is always nice to watch the girl appearing in Undercover video...regardless of
the restoration...

A 60th Anniversary tour would not be too far fetched.

love it. Blu Ray edition with hd sound.

The *colors* in the SD video can be fixed with hardware or software... to fix the typical purplish-green color shifts from old tapes: i.e. fix reds and yellows. warm flesh tones, restore green grass, blue skies and water, etc.

But it's not possible to truly a "uprez" Standard Definition video to High Definition. The *resolution* of the restored video remains the same as the original video. that's the same as attempting to enlarge a Jpeg image: the result is always just a blocky, blurry enlargement of individual pixels.

That really is fantastic news! Only an announcement of a release day the new album this spring would be better. The restored videos on Goats Head Soup were astonishing.

yeah, what's the deal with the constant addition of material, whether on CD, DVD or whatever, to the Japanese releases that the rest of the world doesn't get? Why? That leaves us having to fork out quite a bit of money for the items and especially the shipping. Is there some special financial motivation for the band and if so, what would that be? I just don't get it.

Because CD/DVD/BR are expensive in Japan, buyers there get Bonus-Tracks to buy local instead of (cheaper) import.
