My impression about WB&L is that they were a power trio who came late and unfortunately failed to fulfill the potential 100%. Although I haven’t seen them live, I can imagine they tore the house down, blew away the audience etc when they were on, but there were as many off-nights for good measure for sure.
And, yeah, their heavy rendition of the Stones’ classic is way too much and over the top — a wrong choice.
