Not sure if this has been mentioned here yet but.....

Looks like some out of print goodies are about to be re-released next month.

Time Waits for No One Anthology, Sucking in the Seventies and Rewind.

They're for sale (pre-order) in the store.

It was
[iorr.org]
And The Rolling Stones and The Rolling Stones No.2, 2020 SHM-CD re-issue too

Regarding these Time Waits for No One Anthology, Sucking in the Seventies and Rewind.
Compilations are based on 2009 remaster (Sucking in the Seventies is 2005 Virgin remaster). Apart of collection of tracks and booklets... there is nothing new and unique (BTW Track Time Waits For No One is regular but not extended mix).

Let's hope they also release Video-Rewind again.

These were already released a year ago, maybe two years, in Japan. I bought them all, nothing new.

If they are the real mixes/versions found on the originals I might buy the CDs. It's FUN to buy Rolling Stones records but I've run out of stuff I don't have.

Regarding “Rewind” - - there were different track listings for this compilation, pending on UK versus US location, as well as particular CD versions versus vinyl versions. I wonder which track listings are being offered here?

For two compilations Time Waits for No One Anthology and Rewind brickwalled Marcussen's 2009 remaster was used.
For Sucking in the Seventies Virgin 2005 mastering. This one is in the form it used to be.
Again, there is nothing unique with this compilations but booklet and artwork.

Thanks Irix for the clarification, much appreciated!

I gave my copy of REWIND to a girl a long time ago. I never got it back. Of all the CDs I had to lend to her. I found a copy years later. I can't see getting the Marcumessen destruction version.

I might buckle on TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE though. I dunno. Still have the CBS/Sony and Virgin SUCKING IN THE SEVENTIES so no need for another.

I'm still waiting for ABKCO to discover the sheer endless potential of re-releasing the early Stones material with these long out of-print pseudo-stereo mixes ("electronically re-produced") and the even longer out-of-print 70's/80's DECCA compilations like Stone Age, Gimme Shelter, Rock'n Rolling Stones, Milestones, No Stone Unturned, Collector's Only, Slow Rollers and countless others... CD, Vinyl, Box Sets, Limited Coloured Vinyl...

They could put it up for streaming.

That was a wise move. First you milk guys who are eager to get those CDs anyway. Thus sell them in Japan only with the final price (including S&H) in EU of about 40€ apiece and next year make them available for the rest of the world half priced.

PS. Still can not find a justification to purchase those even with £12.99 price tag.

I might get one or two. The sound is always great. And I didn't get some of these 2009 remasters of 1971 forward music.

It's the UK edition.

Yes. And I can assure you that the new one sounds much worse comparing to old Japanese CP35-5021 'black triangle' CD with the same track list.
