Golden Earring is really good, saw them a lot of times. Great band (still are!)

On topic: it's not about the past, it's about whats left in the tank

Also off topic--I saw Golden Earring open for Bob Marley, and at the end the drummer did a forward flip over the drums and stuck the landing. cool smiley

He did this at the Glasgow Apollo and overshot the stage (which was nearly five metres high).

Glen Miller Orchetra was still gigging up to the Pandemic and has dates scheduled in 2021.

That is depending on how you count I guess. The RS for example have changed original members on four occasions (Brian, Mick T, Ian, Bill),
broken up once (1985-1989) and have had long periods of inactivity.

How do you figure that? Dirty Work, 1986?? Not to mention, they never officially "broke up once". The rough spots in the 80's would fall under "periods of inactivity", in your words.

You're absolutely right, fotp! Albums in 1980, 1981, 1983, 1986 and 1989 as far as the 80s go. Far more frequent than in the past two decades (instead several DVDs, Vaults, etc., etc.). Stoneage, first do your homework ...

Glen has to be really old by now though.

So then, would you have to 'Count' them out?
