i like queen, and brian may but there are far better bands and better guitar players.

stones, the doors, floyd, u2, are just some of the groups better than queen,

as for guitar players, syd barret, david gilmour, hendrix much better.

as for front men, theres many better than freddy mercury, jaggers the best, then jim morison.

its all about media driven opinions, people should think for themselves.

What makes Brian May stand out is the way he interacted with Queen and vice versa, and his guitar sound. As a stand alone guitarist he's a very good rock player, as there are many.
