OT: History of jazz clubs

If you're into jazz and its history, this looks interesting. It brings back memories of the Famous Ballroom in Baltimore, Maryland, where, the Left Bank Jazz Society would bring in name jazz performers to play in an intimate setting. You'd have great music, an appreciative audience and a good time. Considering the times we're now living in, maybe having concerts in small venues with a limited audience is a way to go.

That´s great.
I will give it to my 85 year old still piano playin' father who created a huge Jazz-World in our home ever since.
From my 1961 baby-time on there was Jazz in my ear. Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond,
Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Quincy Jones, Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander and of course Carl Tjader and so many more lived and live in my parents living room until today. Jazz formed me. And even I became a Stones and Rock-Fan I never went away from Jazz my father and me never lost music touch.
He has all Charlie Jazz Albums.
And he like some Stones-tracks.
Because he alwasy says: "The Stones swing - and what ever swings is good music."
