Hi,

here's footage backstage and tv-show usa 1964,
instagram says it is mike douglas show,
together with great stuff from beatles and monkeys,

stones 00:32:10 to 00.33.55

That's definitely Mike Douglas show, rehearsals. What I find really weird about these old footages is the cameraman seemed more interested in filming the crowds and stage staff other than the Stones performing or getting ready.

Well, there’s far too much crowd-footage now, too. What grates does me, regarding some of the early footage, is the absolute focus on Mick Jagger. I do get it, a little, but the sole-focus on the frontman was almost relentless with mist acts, it seems; regardless of the action happening around them: a guitar-solo, etc!

I'm totally ok with a frontman being a main focus though I don't remember much of absolute focus on him in their early videos.

Anyway, it's better than focusing mostly on tons of screaming teens freaking out while you could watch your fav band performing instead.
