Mick's reply ta Fanning always rolls me

Ellen Fanning
He (Keith) presents as a sort of sozzled pirate.
Is he really a sozzled pirate ?

Mick Jagger
I don't know if he's sea-faring abilities are really up to scratch to be honest

Surprised nobody listed 'I got the Blues'. The title alone is so poignant. I used to listen late night with a glass of whiskey, very sad song.

others
all about you
No use in crying
Winter

no expectations

fool to cry

something happened to me yesterday

paint it black

laugh i nearly died

already over me

blue turns to grey

if you need me

The Stones dont really do melancholy ....

Even when they go steppin' close to the
misery pit there's always that vibe...that
soul .. that inner grind they create that drives
us .... Keeps us all from that edge .... Keep on tryin' ....

Yeah Rockman, brilliant.
That‘s so true.
And so good expressed.
Always feeling this through those songs.
Never put it in words.
You did now. So well!

Is not Paint it black one of the most melancholic stuff they've ever come up with. I mean it's quite depressive lyrics for someone 20 year old to say the least

Almost Hear You Sigh, especially that acoustic guitar break.
