Love it. Nice and bluesy and sounds to me like a Stones track, not Mick solo.

After a couple listens I’ve not caught all the lyrics - probably due to the device
I’m using for playback. Like what I hear though...

If Mick/The Stones get political and throw shade at President Trump, I certainly won't be purchasing it.

Election only 6 days away, a little late for a Trump song.

Nah..
It's really not tho, as all ads, media, etc right now are for "undecideds" and those voting in person.
Also sounded like past tense to me.. "somebody pushed you off the wall". Tough to say though.

Goal would not be to impact any of that though, just political commentary, going on record (pun intended) so to speak. As they often do so very well..

Ok... and?

The Stones have ALWAYS been political in their music (SFM, UotN, HF, Neocon, England Lost, etc.)

They've also always been vocally political. Commenting on most leaders from the past 50 years. They are liberal and vocal about it.

They disagree with Covita, get over it.

From what I hear he’s singing about a relationship with a woman. What are you getting so uptight about. By the way are you going to stop listening to band that don’t agree with your views? That would be around 99 percent. Nobody cares if you don’t listen. Nobody

it reminds me of something I can't quite place?

It reminds me a bit of Hide Your Love. With a hint of Under the Radar, perhaps. Anyway, it sounds bloody fantastic.

And just look at Jagger. 77 and still looking and sounding absolutely mesmerizing.

Sounds more stonesey with each listen to me..

Political or not.. "overeating, tweeting, and being "pushed off a wall" being the only real discernible lyrics, it's not surprising that it reminded all of us of someone smiling smiley ????

Can't wait to hear it.

Musically OK, lyrically average, vocally sounds like Mick's over-exaggeration is back in full force.
Overall sounds slightly familiar, but can't pin down from where (yet)...maybe we'll get to hear more.

Wonder when (if) this will be released? I mean it's been over a year since Really Wanna Tell the Truth

And there was the other harder, bluesier one w/the wailing harmonica.
Ghost Town wasn't teased out like this by Mick alone, so maybe this is just another one of his unfinished demos that needs more work and collaboration from the others.

Sure hope it comes out soon. Could use a new song to bring us all back up!

There was also another one he posted from May of last year that sounded like a classic Stonesy rhythm track.

Somehow it reminded me of the song Gin House Blues. I‘m looking forward to it.

Ok, not great...sounds more like a Mick project and if it some sort of anti Trump thing then its kind of a turn off to me as was the song on the last album. Mick tries too hard to 'be current' and go with the mainstream and it's embarrassing.

Yes, fancy trying to live in the present instead of yesteryears.

What about the drum sound? I have some doubt...just like 'Living in a ghost town'.
Drum programming/loop?

Love the clip, didn't catch the Trump connection, but if a politician played your song as its campaign anthem without compensating you, wouldn't you be pissed off, if you were business minded?

to me it sounds very much like a Mick Jagger solo album track…, i.e. rather mediocre
