Discounting the obligatory pre-tour club show, what are some of the shortest 1989-2018 Stones show's in terms of performance duration? Are there any that clock-in under two hours, for instance?

Many shows clocked in before the 2hr mark.
Many times was because of weather or différent situations.

I remember Chicago Soldier Field 2006 for instance.. weather was atrocious and the show was shortened..
Charlotte 2005 too with a bomb threat..The Hague 1998, Istanbul 98 and many more..

Several times when Mick lost his voice, Vegas 16 is one of them I think

Some of the European shows in 2007 were shortened due to the heatwave. Budapest and a few others.

Although not "modern era", I saw them at the
Denver Coliseum in 1972, and they only played
for just over 1 hour, as I remember it.

One of the shortest shows by any band that
I ever saw.

However, the show remains the premier concert
of my lifetime.

The bomb threat was at UVA's Scott Stadium in Charlottesville in 2005.
They may have skipped Keith's songs but the show wasn't short.

and while we're at it what is the longest show ever? 1975 or 6 tour I assume?

This was the second leg of the BB-tour. Mid-October. It was an outdoor stadium gig in a temparature that was below zero celcius, I believe. So they spiced up the setlist and spared the audience (and themselves), methinks

I've been to Chicago in March, and if it is even remotely as cold in October, this was a crazy booking.

That's been discussed before. Atlantic City '89 is one of the longest, alongside - I think - Washington '94. The 1975-76 shows were probably the lengthiest in duration on average, however. Knebworth '76 is the longest set-list, but not the lengthiest show in terms of playing-duration.

Yes, I do now remember reading the reviews here at the time. Where does the time go?

Along with the 18 song setlist in Chicago 2006, there was also the abbreviated 18 song setlist in *Vegas '16.
After the first Vegas show was canceled, Mick was still very sick and ragged from the Desert Trip shows, but the show went on which might have been a bad decision as Mick struggled.
Actual time of the concerts not sure, but my bet would be on *Vegas being shorter as it seemingly abrubtly ended leaving many scratching their heads.

Still clocked in at a respectable two hours and two minutes though.

What it lacked in length, it made up for in sound and spirit however.
The new arena had surprisingly great sound and Keith & Ronnie's guitars had the best sound I've heard, perhaps ever.
Was obvious the rest of the band really stepped up to help Mick out, was great to witness.

When did the "long" shows era begin? I mean shows considerably longer than an hour? If I'm not misinformed shows in 1970 were about an hour. Since 1981 two hours seems to be the standard.

Was at that show also with a side stage seat on Ronnie’s side so I was also able to see behind the stage. Mick came out during Keith’s third song and was watching him on a monitor. When Keith finished the set and went backstage Mick put his arm around his shoulders in a gesture of thanks. Was great to witness that.

What about the superbowl halftime show? Can we see it in HD somewhere? Love to see it again in good quality

in the modern era were the New York City press conference in 2005, and the Super Bowl in 2006 with just three songs performed at each.
