Hi all!

Long time reader, only recently registered user and now first time poster here.

I’m looking for the exact place (house) in Positano (in Italy’s south, near Sorento and Napoli), where Mick & Keith actually stayed in ’69 and where they supposedly wrote “Rambler” (a.o.) - P.S.: some sources say they stayed there in 1966 - maybe they went there twice, mayby just the once, either in ’66 or in ’69... I actually don’t want to stir up a debate about thàt; I’m after the location, not the historical accuracy… ;o)

The reason I’m looking for that is, that in recent times, the house became a B&B - so people can actually rent it and stay there. I’m looking to spend some time over there; just to get the feeling of it, the atmosphere in that very highly acclaimed town & region. But I can’t find any references to it - although I remember distinctly that I saw pictures of it, and even an interview with the (lady) owner/manager, not so long ago (maybe 2 or 3 years).

I did a Google search, and a browse through iorr.org, but nothing useful came up.

And in this thread here (iorr.org) there’s an old link to the Airbnb website, supposedly directing to the actual house (for rent), but that link appears to be dead now.

i was the one who placed the airbnb-link in iorr.org,
that link is now dead, but if my memory serves right
the appartment was served by hotel eden roc,
so ask there ...

possibly this was the hotel to get the key for the appartment
on the other side of the street, sorry i don't have pictures
from this airbnb-place, i should have taken snapshots then :-(

I checked their website (and all apartments & villas they have on offer); but no mention about it whatsoever.

you could write an email to the new-eden,
perhaps they will know more ?

Not helping with the question, but can say that Positano ranks very high on the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
