The Picture(s) was from Glasgow 1976, The Stones have a Show in the Town, and also was the Final of the Football Country Masters of Europe (today Champions League)
St. Etienne - FC. Bayern Munich, Stones & Players are in the same Hotel, there was 1976 a 1 Side Photo Story in the German youth & music Magazine "BRAVO"

Posing with the enemy. Keith's not known to a football fan, but for Mick - who, at least, likes to pretend - to be a fan, this is unforgivable!

No, but while watching the interview the large phot in the background was very prominent. Especially since Nuhr lives in such an ugly and empty flat and is no beauty himself.

I cant believe a German didnt know that. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

They're surely more famous in your country than the other two.

Muller is still my favourite player of all time.

Yep, Der Bomber, Gerd Müller, was a special player. Short and sturdy. Only played in the penalty box. A classical goal thief. Scored on everything.

Both are absolute football legends, not only here in Germany. Unfortunately Gerd is suffering from Alzheimer's disease since a few years.

I'd have thought, that by mentioning football, my point was obvious enough, no? The enemy in 'footballing-terms' Of course, Italia '90 and Euro '96 had yet to happen. Mick didn't have crystal ball, after all. I guess he can be forgiven.
