This morning I received an e-mail saying:

And it seems that the autographed posted is indeed shipped separately. The e-mail lists the items as follows:

And so that email was to inform you of the autographed poster shipping, since the set itself has a 0 quantity?

Yes I take it that they only shipped the poster on the first dispatch and the box set itself will follow. From what I gather, it was the same with the "Talk Is Cheap" signed Super Deluxe Set, the signed art cards were shipped separately.

And yes, I managed to be one of the lucky 100 who got the signed version on the day it was put on sale. Thank God for targeted Facebook advertising in this case...

Yeah, that part seems fishy. I also didn't see any reported success in the Facebook comments to Keith's post.

please keep us posted if you hear something more. I originally went to his site when they were first available, put one in my cart but then chickened out, changed my mind again ten minutes later and I think I got it into my cart but then it disappeared but at any rate they were sold out by the time I decided to pull the trigger.

Yeah, will do. My best advice is just to check the website from time to time. And get lucky.

IF - if - a new batch of 100 signed versions was indeed released yesterday, it was done before the announcement on social media. And somehow fans/collectors got word before the announcement and grabbed all 100. Or they just happened to be at the website at the right time. Both of those scenarios seem a bit doubtful.

Back on October 1st, even with the social media announcement, it still took 1 hour and 15 minutes for the first batch of 100 signed versions to sell out.

For what it's worth, the item description on the store's website still says "limited to 100", not "limited to 200". I do believe that's just an oversight on their part.

Sheesh. But I am still kind of doubtful. I never got an email about it, but I did get an email from them today saying the two LP colored vinyl version was going to be delayed. I actually replied to that email and asked specifically about the signed version, but it probably got directed to a 'bot and the bit bucket. And you would think that if they did indeed increase the run to 200 (in violation of the promise of only 100 initially), they would update the website to correctly show 200 max copies. Its kind of false advertising otherwise. But, who knows.

I have been watching the site but being out in the country my internet connection is kind of spotty lately so I have not been able to really keep my eye on it.

I do care! But that's the way things are these days - my guess is in their greediness, they figure in another few years they will re-release it again with the remainder of tracks included, and get everyone to buy it again. But at least the bootleg sounds pretty damn good, so not a huge deal.

Not to mention the dynamics range...

Agree, it's not a very good look as far as marketing goes. Of course, for the lucky few who got in on the 2nd batch it was great,

I know at least three people who were able to buy the signed version yesterday. They all sent me private messages about it. That must have been the "additional 100".

They were all sold out in about half an hour, maybe less. The time was at around 1 PM EST / 6 PM GMT.

The website item description update (or lack thereof) is probably just laziness on their part.

By the way, since the "unsigned" boxset also contains the yellow concert poster, as can be seen here in this promo video:

(note that the poster is not mentioned in the item description of the "unsigned boxset" on the Keith Richards website)

So this probably means that those who bought the signed boxset will get two posters - one signed and one unsigned...

I now received an e-mail notification saying the boxset itself has shipped.
