I think thats a valid question I found this online -
Fake crowd noise on NFL broadcasts and inside stadiums
With empty sports venues during the COVID-19 pandemic, some leagues have piped fake crowd noise into the stadium and let broadcast networks choose whether to feature that sound on TV. Others have simply featured the fake crowd noise as broadcast-only elements and left it out of the stadium.

It's annoying! Knowing there's no one or hardly anyone in the stands, it's like the din of a casino. I think it's dumb.

Bit of an ugly Sunday for Cam Newton but, lo and behold, Rex Burkhead and Sony Michel inexplicably morphed into Jim Brown and Gale Sayers, leading the Patriots to a decisive win over the Raiders. Credit must also go to the O-Line for creating some wide open running lanes, not something we're used to seeing from NE.
So we went from a QB who ran like crazy in Week 1, to a pass-happy QB in Week 2, to a running attack reminiscent of the Csonka-Kiick days in Miami in Week 3. Wonder what's in store next week in Kansas City?
A few other questions to ponder as we wait for next week's games...
How long before Adam Gase, Matt Patricia, and Dan Quinn are collecting unemployment checks?
Will throwing 'just' three TD passes in a game be considered on 'off night' for Russell Wilson?
When it comes to his legacy as a GM, is it fair to say that John Elway is the 'Michael Jordan of the NFL'?
Is this the year Josh Allen silences his critics in Buffalo?
Wouldn't it have been great if the Cowboys were 0-3 instead of a 'gift wrapped' 1-2?
Is it true that Duncan Yo-Yos is planning to introduce a Mitch Trubisky Model for Christmas?
Are Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers experiencing a revival of sorts?
Would the Jets be better off had the entire team opted out of the season due to COVID-19?
And, finally...which stadium has the best fake crowd noise?

It's all about the TV ratings. That's where the money is, more than ever this year.

TV ratings have become a bit obsolete, don't ya think? Who can watch Monday Night Football? Only people that have cable or live in the town that one of the teams is from. Other than that, the NFL has shot itself in the foot regarding it being an actual national game since more people have gotten rid of cable.
The TV deals, which includes Amazon and Direct TV, all of which is worth $5 billion, will run out after the 2022 season (I'm going to guess that includes the 2023 playoffs). ESPN's MNF deal ends after 2021.

There's talk that MNF may be back on broadcast channel with the new contract. Both ABC & ESPN showed the game week 2.

Was the ABC broadcast national or strictly local? ABC owns ESPN after all.
In New Orleans, the local Fox station, which basically owns the Saints, shows the MNF games.

You really think the crowd thing is hype??? Wow have you ever been to a game in New Orleans, Seattle, KC ? just 3 examples of home field advantage. I have been to several games in Seattle and the crowd noise can be deafening it is a clear advantage, Your right in the sense its not a guaranteed victory any team can win on any given sunday thats why they play... but when the opposing players can't hear the QB autible's that's called the TWELFETH MAN !!
Hawks looking really good Packers Looking really good hopefully they can match up with the Chiefs and Raven's when the time comes.
GO AWKS !!!
I have been to a Saints game. And to 3 Bears games. If the crowd thing was as big a deal as the TV heads make it this year reveals that's not true.

I've posted this before but here is a link to a simple color coded map showing you which NFL games you get on your local tv.
Comes out every Wednesday afternoon.
Maybe someone can post the 3 actual maps cause i can't...

Can't wait for Bears/Colts on Sunday, should be a good game. One good thing about having a satellite dish in Canada is I get to see a lot of different games. I get US network feeds out of Seattle and Boston so all those games, and then CTV shows games and I get feeds from all major Canadian cities from westcoast to east coast. CTV Toronto usually shows Bills games, which was good back in the day when Doug Flutie was the QB! He was probably the best player to play in the CFL. His style of play was suited for the CFL game, with a larger field.

Imma let you finish, but Warren Moon (2x Grey Cup MVP) who started in the CFL as a rookie, holds that title...
