Keith can't remember Criss Cross or All The Rage yet alone some published (released) songs!

Well of course not, they've only done I forget how many songs have been published but there are a lot more that haven't come out so yeah, why would he be able to remember.

Imo asking "How you wrote Satisfaction?" (and similar BS), should be a crime!!

This interview was on a breakfast show on BBC 2 Radio. It was aimed for the broad public. Not fans solely. Hence the questions. As I said you can tell she's not a big Stones fan.
But one can't demand that. This is primarily PR. They have a new product and want to advertise it. To everyone. Not nerds only. The questions are secondary...

But why shoot in the muscles? Isn't that missing the mark? Isn't it more effective to shoot a smaller dose straight in the bloodstream?

Short version (from that site): shooting
into a vein may be more likely to cause serious long-term
illnesses like endocarditis. This is an infection of the
heart valves. It can do permanent damage to your heart.
It can also kill you. Injecting into a vein also increases
your risk of dying from an overdose. This is because the
dope gets to your heart, brain and other organs much
quicker than if you muscle or skin-pop.
There is a method and madness to the Riffmasters technique and never let it be said that Keith has never done his homework . Proof is in the pudding smiling smiley Also points for you as well DP for knowing this information . I would love to know Keith's IQ ?

Well the lady was particularly annoying with her fake OTT enthusiasm...

Where are David Frost or Dick Cavett? They could pull interesting answers from rock stars, while this chick felt like she was interviewing a Teletubbie.

Is this so hard to comprehend? It was a news breakfast show. It's not aimed at Stones fans particularly. Next segment would probably be the weather, or gardening...

It was all PR to hype the album in the UK, all the promotion work was a success there, Scarlet on BBC Radio 2 playlist for a month, interviews with Mick and Keith, a vĂdeo with a hip actor... all fantastic work to get a #1 album.

With all the kids I see wearing the Tongue logo on their shirts, they probably earn more money selling merch than music these days. The kids don't know the Tongue is actually a Rolling Stones logo or that the RS is even a band.

But do they know who is Nils Holgersson? smoking smiley

Keith to Patti after he put the phone down :
"That chick.... whatever her name... was annoying... urh urh urh! Anyway we're number one (again) with that album... urh urh urh (cough cough)" grinning smiley

I don't think Keith thinks she was annoying. On the contrary. She was in a good mood and Keith was in a good mood. He even called her darling...

Seems like I kill this thread. 21 hours with no one posting. Time to undo the stickiness?
