Hardly. Customs delegated a part of their duties to local post operators who collect VAT at arrival.

I've done in the meantime some googling about double-paid VAT as well as the local customs office and found a discussion in the German section of [www.Discogs.com] , [www.Discogs.com] . If there's no proof that the seller has really paid the VAT to the tax office of the recipient country (or via the Import One Stop Shop, IOSS) then the local customs cannot/doesn't do a refund afterwards.

Correct. The only way is to pay twice to get your parcel. Afterwards you can contact ebay/paypal/discogs or the shop where you made a purchase and present them a proof of the second VAT payment to the local customs. In that case ebay/paypal/discogs or the shop where you made a payment can make a reimbursement for the 1st payment collected on the site of purchase. Or may not. This is a kind of lottery, you know.

Well, I had to pay at the door of my appartment, otherwise I wouldn't get anything at all. I did. And for the time being, it's the last thing I ordered from the UK to the Netherlands.
Shit happens.

Received my copy of IORR today - soooo happy Was bit worried about customs taxes in Poland, but they sent it from Estonia - so no import taxes as it is within EU 7 days for standard delivery - not that long.

You are lucky ! If they would have sent it from UK, you could easily count on 40 % VAT and taxes !
I got an email from them, telling it's not their fault, which I understand, and agree with.
Eventhough, this was the last shirt I ordered from them .

I'm desperate I still haven't received my disk no one on the web will solve it for me I want my disk

I have been scammed with my money and the album does not appear and the webb passes everything it gives me false eimail or they are not competent what do I want my album I have paid for my album. my disk already

Same here. Really happy to have all red LPs so far in my collection.

(Czesc Thorgal, tak btw ).

Mine arrived two weeks ago in Amsterdam (coming from IL) and since then it kind of disappeared. Seems to be a long way from Holland to Austria.
I felt really screwed when I ordered the LP and finally landed in the US-store and had to pay in USD. But as it's always sold out in a rush I didn't want to cancel and try to switch back to the UK.
Finally I'll be glad when it's all over with the red ones.
