I didn't intend to come off as rude here, sorry. But I believe you can also be a fan with just one copy of Some Girls

I didn't mean to be offensive either, and I apologize if I was. I know people who don't collect Stones records but are huge fans. It gives me joy every time I buy a "rare" record .... everyone has their own meter.

Who know’s maybe I paid $55.61 and I’m in the UK. When I purchased Black and Blue I paid the same, no extra charges on arrival.

Paid US$48 all in to Canada

Like for SF they came back at 8PM BST ;-)
Now gone again !

When I bought Blue and Lonesome from the US I paid about 8 € between duties and taxes…….but i live in Italy

Why do the “sold out” red vinyl Some Girls, Black and Blue and Blue and Lonesome Albums still appear on the Carnaby stores, yet the “sold out” GHS and Sticky Fingers don’t?

Limited edition, like all of them I guess. 500 online apparently. Sold out?

I already have at least 10 copies of the various forms of that record, including I think an orange vinyl edition, plus cds of various reissues, so in this case I decided I had enuff and declined.

In same situation with exile but may have to make an exception for that one if and when.

While SG Red-Vinyl was "sold out" within the first minute in the UK-Onlineshop, it was available for long 10 mins in the US-Onlineshop - [iorr.org] .

Got it. The interesting one was Blue and Lonesome, who many of us had our order cancelled because product was damaged. THEN, they rereleased, I guess to fulfill the 1000 'issue'.

I also have loads of copies, and the 'need' is much less than the 'want'. Though the 'want' is starting to subside in me.

The other thing is that stupid "under construction" inner sleeve. You would have thought for a special edition they would have cleared the rights for the original photos. Or just gone ahead with it without rights. F'em.

BTW there seems to be two online allotments, one UK and one US as it stayed in stock longer (6 minutes) in the US store.

Not having the zipper was saving a lot of record collectors a lot of grief. I never liked that from the beginning, its great for putting a great big divot right in the middle of sister morphine.

And I don't think they clear 20k on a run of a thou at 35 each. More like 10k would be my guess, although I suppose you do not have to figure costs for distribution since half are sold in person through the store they pay for anyhow. Still, I doubt anyone makes more than lunch money on these.
