True, but either way, why Blue and Lonesome in the first place? Quite a few better choices in their catalogue imo, but a covers album?
Maybe the strategy is to release every album in red vinyl, and then start over and release every album in blue vinyl... or maybe yellow vinyl.
By the time that's completed which could be quite a few years from now, maybe they'll have a new album of new and original material?

But Blue & Lonesome isn’t considered to be a double album, is it? If it were released in the pre-CD age, with vinyl being the only format, then perhaps. However, many albums are spread across two LP’s for the vinyl release, yet they were not considered to be, or marketed as being, or considered to be ‘double albums’ as such. Any Oasis album, for example.

Just wondering when you buy a copy like that, is it a 'play' copy or do you keep it sealed (ie as an investment).

well they are always flogging the red gold and green on stage with buttons and straps and belts and things, ought to make them ites gold and green vinyl for real. Bob Marley just beat them to it though with the special Songs of Freedom vinyl set.

Yes, I see, the price is high. But I buy one for £210 (included postage). But for this price I can not travel from Belgium to London and buy one in the shop.That's than my point of vieuw to have one.

Yes, slewan, and I did buy two on "Buy it now" one for me and one for a friend. I do know it is not cheap. But what will we have to do in these moments circumstanses? Travelling to UK? No! We will be better to pay a few pounds more. And in the future you may always give me your price for the next issue from an new lp in red Carnaby.

treaclefingers, For me there is no need to open my LP and the other one is for a friend. Only for collection.(I'm 70 of age) The last few decades my LP's are still sealed.
