Seemingly there are music as well:

"The band’s continuing album and single releases will be central to the new shop and top of the range Bowers & Wilkins speakers will boom out tracks from the acclaimed “greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world” – including the upcoming release of the remastered ‘Goats Head Soup’ album and ‘Scarlet’ single."

It is important to note out that the partner here is Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company. Part of the renewed deal with UMG in 2018 was including Bravado to take care of their merchandise. The merchandise stuff and 'brand' seemingly was something the Stones still had to offer in negotating good deals. Anyway, music and merchandise are strongly married nowadays.

Since ABKCO also belongs to UMG nowadays, theoretically they could even sell ABKCO era stuff there - although I am sure Mick and the guys have a say (veto) there.

What's the agenda there? Well, seemingly as tourists come to London, and after taking an Abbey Road photo, and having saw Big Pen and the royal guard change in Buckingham Place, they head to a world-famous Carnaby Street, buy a tongue logo umbrella, to go with Royal Family tea cups or something, and go happily home...

Nothing wrong, I hope they sell band-inspired clothes as well (like Keith's safari jacket from the 1972 US tour or Bill's blue 1981 US tour jumper), just like Pretty Green did the first 3-4 years. I must've bought PG clothes for 15 000 EURO during those first golden years.

Looking to buy some coffee mugs and key chains - Hopefully, they will have an on-line catalog. Coffee in the early early morning prior to running wind sprints. Taster's Choice Instant Coffee is the best. One day I'll buy one of those Kreugs Coffee makes where you just pull down the handle -In that world , CAFE BUSTO is the best.

Key Chains must be oversized because there is no time to be for searching keys; especially when in front of eyes.

I imagine the facade for that shop will be ripe for vandalism...maybe a Beatles fan (Banksy?) will spray paint a giant green apple on it.

I don't think that will happen. The Beatles fans are totally disorganize and are incapable of such actions. A coffee mug is what you need on the Fountain!!! and a Stones key chain!

Figure they don't want to be outdone by Bill's auction come September lol.

But I've seen plenty of shops like that which seem to have very few customers and I assume that they are more advertising loss leaders than true commercial outfits.

Not really disagreeing though.

I wonder that also.

They are making a big buzz, they take the cash and they close before really loosing money. That is one option.

But we should not underestimate the Stones popularity and attractiveness.

They are literally flooding the market with limited run outfit, probably drying the place of the unauthorised merch, and they sell them.

My only complain is that if you want the official Brussels Affair recording on a physical support you still have to spend a lot of money for it - and I find it a bit unfair. I bought it when it was officially downloadable and it was then accordingly priced to what I think to be its real value. Rant over
