it's a James Trussart guitar.

How come? are you just takin' a potshot?

can't find anything Trussard relating in Keith's new one.

the verdict's still out.

The headstock decal reads 'Jones' it appears.

Why?

Keith is featured on Trussard's webpage now, btw.

Really?
Because on all of the pics of Trussart's guitars the headstock sports the same logo, in the middle, as I've posted above.
James Trussart

usually on a metal plate, italic and underlined on the heigh of the e and b-string.
even the pic with Keith shows a metal plate.
James Trussart seems to be a real artist with a consistant body of work. why would he all of a sudden just use his first name?
Do that with a Fender that Leo built and everyone would shout "FAKE"!!!
c'mon, get real.

No way the mystery guitar is a James Trussart!

this is one

Simply because it would be a huge step back for James to design a guitar without a hint of metal which has been his signature for about 20 years.

On the photo you mention, you can quite clearly see the metal finish.

Happened to me too, but I guess since this thread, I've got it right now.

James Trussart doesn't build standard guitars but pieces of art. winking smiley

Yes, the typical JT headstock. But also most probably a very typical (for JT) metal body. Even though it seems JT's catalogue now include wood bodies with a metal table inlay.

I asked Pierre and he answered 'Darryl Jones'. That's all the information I have.

I'm struggling to understand this - Darryl does have a signature bass, made by Lakland I guess: [www.abasses.com]
but a Darryl Jones guitar?? I haven't been on Darryl's website in a few years but he used to be pretty responsive -
maybe one of you gentlemen could ask him for more details?

I wondered if Mathijs meant William Jeffrey Jones: [divine-jones.com]
Not a bingo, but those are some pretty guitars! Reminiscent of Jessellis

Bblink, have you asked him if he made the guitar that's puzzling us? Or: Can you ask, if you haven't?

Yeah I strongly believe it's a Jerome's Customs out of the Netherlands.

Ted Newman Jones had nothin' to do with this one!

The black relic tele Keith used for D&G in Werchter is made by Jeroen (Jeromes Customs). Not sure about this one, they got it for Roskilde, i will ask Jeroen if he built this one for Keith as well.
