Can anyone out there help me? My husband and I are taking beginner dance lessons for our daughters wedding reception ( assuming she can have one in this covid world) - does anyone have any ideas of stones songs we could use? We r working on the rumba dance....thanks in advance!

You can't go wrong with the dance remix version of Too Much Blood

Would the Bo Diddley beat of "Not Fade Away" work?

I'm gonna put you in a whole different place than the Stones. Check out this song by Merle Haggard - Roses In The Winter. Beautiful song and it was my wedding song. Enjoy.

"She Is Was Hot" is also a potential choice...

My sister used "Waiting on a Friend" for her first wedding winking smiley

Worked nicely, it was very popular at the time.

I got an instrumental (extended) version of She's a Rainbow for my youngest daughter's wedding. She always liked that song and was very surprised to hear the Stones without Mick's voice.
But it's a slow dance ...
Good luck with your preparation!

Probably not Dear Doctor...

Best suggestion so far, and only one that is a rumba (I think).

Don't Be A Stranger is pretty similar rhythm-wise, isn't it?

Not Gram Parsons's $1000 Wedding anyway. I agree with Terry, Sweethearts Together is a helluva beautiful song and would work very well.

good luck on the nupitals...but the Stones are more about f***ing than marrying...just sayin'....nothing wrong with open marriages if that's what the couple wants....

Our first dance was "Strange Boat" by the Waterboys. Perfect for a relationship, and, it captures the journey of live and marriage perfectly.

This such a great song. Its dissed here all the time here, butIMO it’s the greatest love song Jagger has written.I think it’s better than Something or Here There and Everywhere. If it had been on Exile, people would have loved it.

I would go with "If Not For You" George Harrison

'Wild Horses" could be a good 2nd choice
