Today, 31 July, I am celebrating my first ever Rolling Stones concert in Greensboro, NC.

I know a few here were there. Say 'hi' if you're still around.

Happy anniversary!

I was alive 45 years ago, sadly I wasn't at the show.

My brother and I were there.
We moved from New Jersey to North Carolina in early July '75 when i was 15 so i saw the Stones for the first time at MSG in late June and then took my 13 year old brother to the Greensboro show on July 31st.
Paid $25 for each seat from a seller in the newspaper.
Festival seating. We had our mom drop us off at the Greensboro Coliseum at 12 noon and we waited all day in the parking lot until the gates opened.
Even though we were one of the first into the building we didn't go to the front of the stage - sat Ronnie's side a couple rows off the rail.
Great stuff.

Ah I know the feeling my first was August 2, 1975 Jacksonville, Florida a hot 90 plus degree day also 45 years ago...

I have pictures still from my Kodak Instamatic of that day, the stage, etc.

I was there... drove up from Charlotte. A buddy of mine filmed some of it with his dad’s camera from up close, he recently transferred it to dvd and sent me a copy. Greensboro was the second time I’d seen them on that tour, the first was opening night at LSU (evening show) down in Baton Rouge. We were right up front against the stage, a real pressure cooker. They did “Luxury” and “Dance Little Sister” that night which was extremely cool.

Yep! My first Stones show!

Still in Atlanta, and still fighting Parkinson's but otherwise doing well. Ready for this virus to take a hike.

My mom dropped me and my cousin off around noon as well. We were pressed up against the gate and still remember people holding on and shaking it, 'Open up, open up!' LOL

When they finally opened we ran all elbows and @#$%&, barely got my ticket ripped, hung a left and through the doors down to the floor. We ended up on Keith's side. I was in the photo the next morning in the Greensboro newsie.

What a blast! My ears rang for 3 days hahaha

DBS1972 - Luxury and Dance Little Sister?
Wow, wish i had a better memory of the show.
Those are two gems from the Stones cannon.

Anytime i see the set list for Greensboro '75 it only shows the "standard" set list from TOTA US or says unknown.
Even zentgraf shows no set list.

Wish there was a bootleg.

I second that! I wish someone had at least one song from this show that folks could enjoy.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, “Luxury” & “Dance Little Sister” were performed at the Baton Rouge concert I attended. (They did those plus “Rocks Off” at the matinee show, great bootleg of that one) Greensboro was standard ‘75 set list as I recall.
