I am looking for the title of a movie about a couple on the run after having committed a crime. One scene takes place on a deserted beach. The guy gets shot (by mob hitmen?) standing by the sea, while his long-haired brunette girlfriend watches from afar, sitting in the dunes. The bullets make an eerie sound on the quiet beach. The guy falls down and the waves wash over his body. I think it is a French movie, maybe Spanish, definitely European. I think the film was made in 1993 or later, probably in the first half of the 1990s. The brunette actress in the movie I am looking for looks a bit like Yekaterina Golubeva (from Pola X), but I don't think it's her. Any help in identifying the movie would be greatly appreciated.
