This would be a fantasy come true if I could afford to rent this place out from May - October , then haul all my gear and Les Paul's and Marshall's and just go to town and make a party out of it for the season .

Thank you so much for the shout out, John And Bård!
Means a lot -

The Nellcote Chronicles, the book which is released next year, could not have happened without the IORR.
In 2013, a forum member here, theanchorman, mentioned he had always wanted to see the floorplans of Nellcote. I was curious about the same thing. Aware that any inquiry into the matter would break the mythic spell of its infamous, sinister basement, I nevertheless looked into it. Now some years later, I am in the process of finishing the journey I set out on back then.

The original idea was called Nellcote101. Primarily aimed at music pilgrims/nerds like me. People who, when traveling to…let say, New York City, would visit Electric Ladyland and the staircase from the Waiting on a Friend-shoot. I envisioned the project along the lines of an academic crash course. Factual and enjoyable. But foremost: Short.

But the project grew. And instead of spending a summer, I spent years researching this great, sprawling topic.
The book focuses on the period from 1899 until 1974. And so while the Stones seeps through the full storyline, they do not appear full-on until Chapter 7. I think you will enjoy the ride.

If you have comments or other trivia, I ´d love to hear about it. We are all in this together winking smiley (My mail here at IORR is always open)

And thank you once again BV, for the great place you have created for us.

Amazed how often people incorrectly refer to the album as "Exile On Main Street".
