Nice read on Peter Green's history. I am sure a number of us are familiar with it. If y'all wanna hear some sweet guitar work, go check out Green doing "I Love Another Woman" on utoob. It's similar to his "Black Magic Woman" but a pretty cool sound on its own.

Fleetwood Mac's Boston Box Set from the Boston Tea Party shows in 1969 is magical stuff. WOW!

1970!

I agree, it’s so crunchy and raw. They were a hell of a band.

I used to turn that 25 minute workout of Rattlesnake Shake on the jukebox at bars! Hahaha

I went to the Peter Green tribute concert in London just before lockdown and it was truly great.

Videoed nearly half the show. Here's one of the highlights -

He's up there with the greats. Saw him with the Splinter Group.

Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green were amazing. He went to South Side Chicago clubs with Willie Dixon on a couple of occasions. One time, Willie had to stop somebody from taking his guitar. Willie Dixon was a master of gentle persuasion.
