I just saw that the price in amazon.de increased from 114e to 146e.

Im just gonna wait it out, and enjoy it in Tidal for now.

Its about 35e more expencive in my record store.
I rarely use amazon. But for some reason Stones releases are always around 20% cheaper in amazon compared the record stores in Finland.

Edit. Especially the boxsets. The from the vault releases ive alwyas bought locally.

Yeah... Its not great.

The reason the french are out of stock is probably that they were the only ones in Europe selling it at that price. (i think)

Like visiting a candy shop (or a good liqour store) again... New Stones stuff... listening, re-listening, having a over-all view, then more to details, what's old, what's new, who does and what.... I decided to do this track by track. Just started with "Fast Talking, Slow Walking" - one of my favourite out-takes ever - and the first impression: oh man, I do like it!

Just doing this by online services - a big hand to Rockman providing the track info.

I must admit that after repeated listening and after my rather lukewarm initial reaction to this track, I really love it too now!

It's coming from a parallel universe, sounds like what could have been if Kimsey had followed Keith's instruction to wipe the only "rock take"...

Saturn in Germany which is usually higher priced has it for 99 euros. I didn't expect that. Happy I didn't order with Amazon as I usually do, which are normally cheaper than anywhere else. Should be getting the clear vinyl edition from Bravado today. Price was 40 euros.

I think this release is awesome, the early comments got me very worried, but put the outtakes CD into my player now and tried to get all of those critical comments out of my head. To me it's a very enjoyable bonus disc - so much better than the ones included with GHS and SF and maybe even even Some Girls. Mick's new vocals on this disc are not so jarring and I think I will be playing this a lot over the next few weeks. Even the new Start Me Up is great!

Now - onto the live stuff and checking out the book

Judge for yourselves all!

Although I have to say that Kimsey admitted not working on the track and he didn't directly say who played what on it.

And he also said that they kept Mick's vocals from back then. I remember Mick saying that there weren't any vocals on it.

Of course there were vocals since it appeared as "Waiting on My Friend" on VGP's "Could You Walk On The Water" in 1994 ;-) However that vocal is NOT the one on the released version obviously so I'm not sure what Kimsey meant by "keeper".

Sometimes the credits will just say "acoustic" or "electric" or "bass" unless there is a reason to make them distinct.

It´s a lie - my favourite right now. And Brown Sugar sounds good, Wembley.
